Springhill Library Announcement

We’re getting a new accessibility ramp in Springhill!

Due to the construction, the back door and current accessibility ramp at the Springhill Miners Memorial Library cannot be used at this time. We will update our social media pages and website as soon as this becomes accessible again. The front door remains open for patrons to use.

If this makes the library inaccessible to you, please call 902-597-2211 so we can help accommodate your library needs either by Borrow By Mail or curbside pick-up!

Borrow By Mail is a free library outreach service provided for residents of Cumberland County who are unable to visit our libraries. You can find more Borrow By Mail information by contacting your nearest branch, or by clicking here.

Advocate Is Open!

Our NEW Advocate location is now open! Find branch hours and information here.

We want to take this time to thank the amazing community of Advocate Harbour, and the Advocate District Development Association. It is because of your hard work and determination that we are able to have this fantastic new space, and continue to provide library service in your community.

We also want to thank our amazing staff for making the transition to this new location possible. Your countless hours of hard work and dedication to providing rural library service are appreciated.
